Huddersfield Town's Elias Kachunga is reportedly a target for Everton.

Everton are chasing Ingolstadt striker Elias Kachunga, who is currently on loan at Huddersfield, as they look to give Romelu Lukaku adequate cover.

The German forward has scored 10 goals so far this season as the Terriers push for promotion to the Premier League but they could lose the chance to sign the striker in the summer with Everton and others tracking the player, according to the Mirror.

The club are said to have an option to buy the player for a bargain £1.5m at the end of the season but with interest from a host of clubs, the player will have a big decision to make.

Watford and Middlesbrough are also said to be interested in the player.

Everton are without options should Romelu Lukaku get injured, with Kevin Mirallas and Ademola Lookman having to fill in further up the field.

Enner Valencia could be seen as an option, though should the Toffees want to push for the elite of the Premier League, they will need quality throughout their squad.
